Roadhouse Winery is a micro-producer of fine handmade Pinot Noir in the town of Healdsburg, CA. Roadhouse Winery makes Yorkville Highlands, Russian River Valley and Sonoma Coast Pinots in a California style, from name vineyards like Weir, Olivet Lane, Sangiacomo, Leras, Nunes and Silver Pines.
Roadhouse is a small winery dedicated to producing hand crafted Pinot Noir. Over the years we have cultivated friendships with other winery owners and our highly respected growers that reflect our wine making philosophy. We produce Pinot Noir with a few small batches of Chardonnay, Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon that are true to the diverse terroir and micro climates native to Sonoma County.
After two decades of tech in San Francisco, at the turn of the century, Eric, being flush with his dot com earnings, bought a spread in Cazadero, California (true Sonoma Coast). He couldn't help but notice cliff-side vineyards being planted, and Flowers Winery Pinot Noir at the General Store. Fast forward a few years, he found himself working for the Papapietro Perry Winery, and co-founding the Pinot on the River Festival at his resort property in the Russian River area. Unfortunately, the river overran his place in the winter of 2005-2006. Eric then found himself managing a historic winery property in Forestville, and running the Pinot on the River Festival event, but still dreaming of the day when he could have his own little Pinot Noir operation. He teamed up with his friends and family and created Roadhouse Winery in 2010, in downtown Healdsburg.
